What's Happening!?!?
OK, Here we go! I told you I was working on some pretty cool stuff, and it is finally ready to go! First, last month I did some private shows at a place called the Manasota Beach Club, which is located about a mile and a half north of middle beach on Manasota Key. I have to tell you. I was absolutely blown away! This place is GORGEOUS! It is right on the Gulf of Mexico with all kinds of amminities, including tennis courts, swimming pools, (i think you get the idea!).
Now, I have been trying to figure out something that I could do for my fans and friends that would be unique and special. We've all done the cruise ship thing, so I did not want to do that again, and other troprock artist have their own places to go, so I wanted to come up with my own! After performing at The Manasota Beach Club It hit me! Lets do a weekend retreat right here in SW Florida! No third world countries to deal with. No customs forms to fill out! Just a nice relaxing weekend in a secluded setting right here in Florida!
So here's the deal. The weekend of August 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th, I will be hosting a private get together at the Manasota Beach club, exclusively for my fans and friends! Here's how it will go:
On Thursday afternoon, starting at 3:00 PM, I will be meeting everyone as they arrive and check into the resort. At 5:00 we will have a happy hour reception! At 6:00 I (that's right, me all by myself) will personally grill you your choice of hot dogs or hamburgers (there will be other side dishes as well). At about 7:00 we will all sit down and eat. Then at 9:00, I will start singing! (its going to be a long weekend, so this will probably be a short show!).
On Friday morning, we will all have coffee, donuts and other pastries as a continental breakfast. Then we will go Kayaking at 10:00! At noon we will take a break and have a picnic lunch on a deserted island! By 3:00 PM we will be back at the Manasota Beach Club. There will be a three hour break for naps, showers or walks on the beach at that point. Then at 5:00 we will start happy hour again!!!!! At 6:00 we will enjoy a catered dinner and at 8:00 I will do another (and longer) solo show.
On Saturday morning we will have sunrise yoga on the beach followed by a continental Breakfast from 8:00 - 9:00 AM before we depart on our private yacht that will be picking us up bayside at the Resort! We then get to take a leisurely boat ride around my home waters of Lemon Bay before stopping for a special lunch at Rum Bay on Pine Island! By 3:00 PM we will be back at the resort where we can once again nap, walk or what ever until 5:00 Happy Hour again! At 6:00 we will enjoy a catered Lau on the Gulf Terrace. Then from 8:00 - 11:00 PM, it will be the whole Jack Mosley Band!
On Sunday Morning, at 8:00 we will have coffee and danishes. From 10:00 till 11:00 AM, I will be doing something that no one has ever seen me do, and that is I will sing some of my Spiritual songs as we all sit down on the beach! At 12:00 noon, it's time to check out and head home, hopefully totally happy!
The only thing you need to bring is what ever alchoholic beverages you might wish to consume and your clothes, we'll take care of the rest. All activities are included in the price.

We will be in a new town that will make it a whole lot easier to into and out of than Pigeon Forge! The new location is Rockwood Tennessee, and it is about 20 minutes from the Knoxville airport. This years line up will include (but not be limited to) Your's truly, Jack Mosley, Hugo Duarte', Paul Roush, and (wait for it.......) That's right! Thom Sheppard will be joining us! ( for those of you who might not know this, Thom wrote the Party Cove song, as well as Riding With Private Malone! In a few days, I will be posting more information about the venue, the new web site and the hotel accommodations!
